DEAREST CARE
Dearest Care is the vision of two families, Harrison-Cristina and Labu & Benzy, coming together to provide high-quality care and service to the community. Both families involvement was driven by a shared passion for making a real difference.
Dearest Care was born out of a deep passion for making a real difference in people’s lives.
After 15 years of dedicated service in health and social care, Cristina and her husband Harrisson both worked within the NHS and private sector.
As a family, their journey in healthcare began as a healthcare assistant, progressing through hard work and dedication. Cristina became a registered nurse and later a deputy manager, while her husband Harrisson advanced from being a healthcare assistant and deputy manager to becoming a registered manager. As they were a role model, they inspired their eldest daughter to pursue a master’s degree in clinical psychology, further strengthening the family’s commitment to quality care.
Labu, who has experience as the Managing Director of a care company since 2014, and his wife Benzy, completed nursing since 2003 with extensive experience across various specialities, including adult nursing, dementia care, and taking care of differently abled people to bring strong leadership and expertise. Benzy has also held roles as deputy manager and associate director.
Their ambition and motivation stemmed from a firm belief that they could help set the standards of care they would want for their own loved ones. Cristina’s experience in nursing homes, along with her husband’s leadership in a home for individuals with brain injuries and learning disabilities, reinforced their passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care.
However, after many years in the sector, they realised how difficult it was to achieve meaningful change within institutional settings.
One of the most challenging aspects was witnessing their patients experiencing emotional distress as they were forced to sell their homes to move into a nursing home facility.
Despite their best efforts, they found themself unable to make changes that they envisioned.

Labu and Benzy, who had also shared similar experiences in health and social care, came to a realisation that their shared passion and frustrations with the system inspired them to take action. This led them to establish Dearest Care—a service dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care within the comfort of people’s own homes.
Their goal is to elevate care and standards, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, providing tailored care, and creating a thriving workplace for staff and to empower carers to provide truly individualised support, promote dignity, and actively involve families in the care process and for their loved one to not be taken away from them.
